Grades R, 1 and 8 school admissions close (all ordinary public schools).

30 Mei – 10 Junie 2025

Parents/guardians/caregivers are informed of the outcome per email/SMS for Grades R, 1 and 8.

30 Mei – 17 Junie 2025

Parents/guardians/caregivers confirm acceptance of Grades R, 1 and 8 placements.

System opens for parents/guardians/caregivers and districts to capture Grades 9–12 transfer requests on the SAMI system (all ordinary public schools).

System closes for parents/guardians/caregivers and districts to capture Grades 9–12 transfer requests on the SAMI system (all ordinary public schools).

17 – 19 September 2025

Parents/guardians/caregivers are informed of the outcome per email/SMS. 

17 – 30 September 2025

Parents/guardians/caregivers confirm acceptance of transfer placements.

School Fees

The school fees are approved annually by the majority of parents and guardians at the budget meeting. Public school fees are a statutory obligation in terms of the South African Schools Act, No. 84 of 1996 (as amended), which is payable annually in advance at the beginning of each school year and such payment is compulsory, unless parents have been granted exemption or partial exemption from school fees.

Exemption forms will be available from the first school day of the new year at the school funds office.

(Application for exemptions can only be made until March 2025)

Clothing Bank

There is a clothing bank at the school, where second-hand sports and school clothes can be obtained, for a minimal fee.
