We strive to be leaders in the overall approach to rugby which includes: strong moral values, coaching and development, player development (emotional and psychological) and conditioning. With this we ensure that at least two teachers coach per age group, as well as one sports scientist and three strength and conditioning assistants who ensure that our players are physically prepared by using our functional gym and outdoor training gym.

Tygerberg High School recently produced a few Springboks, namely: Eben Etzebeth, Marvin Orie and Travis Ismaiel.
The u/20 World Rugby Player of the Year (2017), Juarno Augustus, Blitzbok Justin Geduld and Andre Warner who play for the Golden Lions and the Blue Bulls are all former Tigers.
